Refund Policy
All sales are final. No refunds. No exchanges.
We stand behind the products we sell. Your satisfaction with your purchase is extremely important to us. If you are unsatisfied with your purchase for any reason, please email: angela@angelamorano.com.
Angela Morano may offer refunds, at our sole discretion, on purchases returned in ‘new’ and ‘saleable’ condition within 5 days of purchase. The determination of condition is at our sole discretion. You must contact us before returning any purchase and receive approval from Angela Morano to return the product. You will waive your right for return for any reason if you do not receive our approval in advance.
Angela Morano has the right to refuse any unapproved return, item(s) worn or damaged by the customer, or any item(s) improperly packaged and damaged in transit and to request payment for return shipping of said item(s). Please send all returns in a moisture and tear resistant package or the original box it was sent in with proper padding/stuffing in the hat if you purchased a couture/blocked hat. ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON CUSTOM REQUESTS. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. If a piece was specifically created for you, as a small business we cannot accept refunds or exchanges.
Please be advised that quality is our number one priority. While multiples of the same item are created with the same materials and process, occasionally there are subtle variations from one piece to the next due to handcrafting. Therefore each piece has its own desirable uniqueness, not to be considered flaws. Our one of a kind creations are not factory produced.
All Turbands, Full Wraps, Faux Fur Headbands, Flat-patterned hats, ready to wear pieces, and all other items not requiring a hat box for storage or shipping will be sent via USPS. Angela Morano reserves the right to change shipping methods should it save the customer processing time or shipping costs. Angela Morano is not responsible for mailed lost or stolen packages. All packages are delivered with a tracking number sent to the customer via email.
Processing Time
Most items are in stock and ready to ship. All in stock orders ship within 3-5 business days (Monday through Friday- excluding holidays). However, if multiple items are purchased additional processing time may be required. Please allow additional processing time for custom orders. Most custom orders require 2-4 weeks to complete plus shipping time.
Rush Orders
If you need your item faster, please email: angela@angelamorano.com with your request. While all rush orders cannot be accommodated, especially during high volume times (i.e. Derby season, winter holidays), we will do our best to meet your request. Rush fees and additional mailing costs may apply. Please email: angela@angelamorano.com BEFORE placing your rush order. Orders placed without a prior email request may not be accommodated. All items must be paid for in full before the order is processed.
Custom Requests
All custom pieces start at $100 minimum and include 2-3 fitting sessions. Fit sessions are at the beginning, mid-way during the design process, and a final session once the design is completed. The final session insures that the piece is the perfect size/design and ready to wear. All custom work requires a 50% non-refundable deposit. Changes to final product may result in changes in final cost.
Most custom work takes about 2-4 weeks to complete. Most bridal work requires at least 4 weeks to complete.  ALL SALES ARE FINAL ON CUSTOM REQUESTS. NO REFUNDS OR EXCHANGES. If a piece was specifically created for you, as a small business we cannot accept refunds or exchanges. Please email: angela@angelamorano.com for all custom requests and pricing.
All Turbands, Faux Fur Headbands, Flat-patterned hats, and ready to wear pieces are "one size fits most". Full Wraps are available in two sizes. Size M fits average headsizes, 22 inches and below. Size L fits slightly above average head sizes, 23 inches and above. Size M is recommended for those who fit most standard hats. Size L is best for taller gals, anyone that has a slightly above average head size, or if you wear extensions/braids. Need help determing your headsize? Click here. The average women's headsize is approximately 22.5 inches. All "one size fits most" designs are created with this measurement in mind. Please see each individual product description for sizing details. If you have a question regarding the size of a specific piece, please email: angela@angelamorano.com BEFORE placing your order

Hat Care, Storage and Materials
All designs are created with the highest quality materials available.
  • Unless noted, most Turbands and Full Wraps are a knit blend fabric consisting of 87% nylon and 13% spandex, making them durable and stretchy for complete comfort. Turbands and Full Wraps can be spot cleaned with a gentle detergent and soft cloth. Air dry. Avoid heat.
  • Faux fur headbands are created with the finest, hand selected faux fur. Each headband is lined with velvet fabric, woven with 36% nylon and 64% acetate. The velvet is sturdy and has a soft texture. Faux fur headbands should be dry cleaned. If desired, faux fur front can be spot cleaned with plain water and a soft cloth. Avoid rubbing or roughing up the faux fur in order to maintain its luxurious appearance. Clean the faux fur in the direction of the nap. Air dry. Avoid high heat as this can damage the fibers of the faux fur. Faux fur fibers can be combed or gently brushed into place. Avoid water or detergent on velvet lining. Do not iron or steam. Avoid high heat. Fibers or debris can be gently picked out of hook and latch (Velcro) attachment.
  • Felt hats are velour felt, made of 100% rabbit fur. Most velour felt is 105-74 grams with reasonable stiffness. All felt hats are of couture quality and tradition. They are not stiffened or sized with an additional product, unless noted in the description or by special request. Felt hats should be stored in a cool, dry place away from dust and sunlight. If possible, felt hats should be stored in their original boxes with stuffing. Most boxes and tissue paper are acid free. While wearing, rain or wet weather conditions will not necessarily harm your hat. But, do not heat a wet hat to dry it. Heat will shrink the felt and change the sizing of your hat. Stand your hat upside down on its crown, or hang on a hook in a cool place and let it dry naturally. Wet felt retains the shape in which it dries, so make sure the brim and crown are shaped as you want them before drying. Do not leave a hat standing flat on its brim, as this will distort the brim. Remove dust from your hat with a soft brush by brushing in the direction of the nap.
  • Sinamay and straw hats are particularly sensitive to water and temperature. Sinamay and straw hats should be protected from moisture, including rain and snow. While some styles are designed as protection from the sun, they should not be worn as rain hats. Water and moisture will cause the material to misshape. If your hat gets wet while wearing, allow to air dry without heat, placing the brim and crown in the proper position. Most sinamay and straw hats are stiffened with a sizing spray for extra control. If possible, sinamay and straw hats should be stored in their original boxes with stuffing. Most boxes and tissue paper are acid free. Dust can be removed with spray air or a soft, dry cloth.
If you have additional concerns about the care of your product, please email: angela@angelamorano.com.
